A charity fundraiser assisting children of fallen soldiers achieve a college education.
This September, Adventure Park USA is launching the Putt For The Fallen fundraiser. The family entertainment centerwill simply ask their guests for a $5 donation in exchange for a paper golf ball. Donors will receive recognition by writing their names on the ball, which will be hung around the facility. Donors also receive a FREE round of mini-golf with the purchase of a round, for their next visit.
The goal is to raise $1000, which will directly benefit Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing college scholarships and long-term educational counseling to children of fallen soldiers. Over 15,600 children have lost a parent in the line of duty over the last 25 years and Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation is committed to finding as many of those children and giving them the opportunity to achieve their dreams. They honor the lives of those who have made the ultimate sacrificed for our country, ensuring the success of those they loved.
“Putt for the Fallen gives us something different to promote to our guests in September, a time that is typically a slower month for us since kids are back in school,” says Larry Stottlemyer, Owner of Adventure Park USA. “With the children focused on their educations and the anniversary of 9/11 around the corner, we thought it was a great way to show our appreciation to our military, while giving back to the children.”
Adventure Park USA is always in favor of honoring our nation’s military. With past events including celebrations for Memorial Day, Armed Forces Day, Veteran’s Day and its annual Hero Day Breakfast and Celebration. Military personnel can come in any day of the year and receive 10% off with a military ID.
