(CBS)–President-elect Donald Trump plans to attend Saturday’s Army-Navy game at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium, a spokesperson for his transition team told reporters on Tuesday.
Trump is expected to spend one half on Army’s side of the field and the other on Navy’s.
President Obama attending the game in 2011 when it was played in Landover, Md.
A sellout crowd is expected to watch Navy attempt to win its 15th consecutive game against Army. Navy holds a 60-49-7 edge over Army in the rivalry game first played in 1890.
This is the first time since 2010 that both Army (6-5) and Navy (9-3) both enter with winning records.
Both schools will be playing in bowl games later this month. Army is set to face North Texas in the Heart of Dallas Bowl. Navy will play Louisiana Tech in the Armed Forces Bowl.
