This week the District experienced its first significant winter storm of the season, Councilmember Todd and the Ward 4 Council staff were active throughout Ward 4 helping our senior residents dig out of the snow and ice. From Shepherd Park, to Petworth, to Brightwood Park, the Ward 4 team was hard at work providing snow removal assistance to anyone in need. Councilmember Todd also spent the day assessing the road and sidewalk clearance work throughout the Ward, ensuring that snow removal resources were deployed where needed most. The Councilmember congratulates Mayor Bowser, the Department of Public Works, the DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency, the District Department of Transportation, Snow Team volunteers, and everyone else involved in a successful and efficient snow removal response to Winter Storm Stella.
