As part of CVS Health’s continuing commitment to help improve access to health care for all Americans, CVS is pleased to once again offer Project Health, their annual free health services campaign, at select CVS Pharmacy locations in multicultural communities across the country. Project Health offers an array of free comprehensive health risk assessments, including blood pressure, Body Mass Index (BMI), glucose and total cholesterol screenings. Once screened, CVS Pharmacy helps patients through on-site consultations with bilingual (English/Spanish) nurse practitioners or physician assistants who will analyze results and refer patients who require additional medical attention to no-cost or low-cost medical facilities nearby or to their primary care physician. CVS pharmacists are also available to conduct one-on-one medication reviews and answer any questions patients may have.
The Ward 4 events will be held from 2pm-6pm on:
- Friday, November 10 at the CVS pharmacy at 5227 Georgia Ave, NW
- Saturday, November 11 at the CVS pharmacy at 6514 Georgia Ave, NW
- Sunday, November 12 at the CVS pharmacy at 110 Carroll St, NW
