(CBS)– LaMelo and LiAngelo Ball have both signed one-year contracts with Vytautas Prienai — a professional basketball club in Lithuania — a person with knowledge of the deal confirmed to USA TODAY Sports.
The person spoke under the condition of anonymity because the signings had not yet been announced publicly.
LaMelo, 16, and LiAngelo, 19, are the younger brothers of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball and the sons of outspoken father and Big Baller Brand CEO LaVar Ball.
They will both report to the team in early January, according to the person.
LiAngelo was on track to play at UCLA this season as a freshman but withdrew from the school last week after he was suspended following the China shoplifting incident.
LaMelo, meanwhile, was pulled out of high school by his father in October.
The Vertical first reported the deal.
